Momentum Wallcoverings Volume 2
The Momentum story continues with the new Momentum Wallcoverings Volume 2 collection featuring a stunning mix of eclectic styles, graphic prints and quirky designs. The range enjoys a fashion-focussed, forward-looking palette of chalky tones, ranging from subtle neutrals to monochromes and on-trend brights such as orange, apple and teal. Embossed effects, sumptuous beaded textures and metallic highlights add the finishing touch of glamour.
Dramatic, uninhibited and vibrant, Impasto has been inspired by the free, painterly style and light-reflecting techniques of the Impressionist movement: its prints and weaves are breathtaking in their liberated designs and intensity of colour. To achieve such a strikingly individual, artistic effect, each design has been hand-painted, drawing heavily on rich painterly textures and colours. This technique has been beautifully and sympathetically interpreted onto shimmering silks, cottons and sumptuous eye-catching velvets and weaves. Burgeoning florals, abundant blooms, abstract geometrics, ombré stripes, graceful hummingbirds come together in this thought-provoking, eye-pleasing, sensory delight of a collection
These collections will be available from the end of August I cant wait to see them down in London x

I stumbled across this fabulous geo wallpaper by Studio Lilesadi, founded in February 2011 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is the young label of German textile and surface designer Dinah Smutny and her twin sister Sarah Smutny. They are cooperating with companies such as wallpaper producer Photowall
The patterns of their designs are often inspired by floral motives, but abstracted and de- romanticised through graphical elements.
“Some people find our design ethereal, others say it has a Swedish touch, but there is a certain japanese influence as well. We would describe our style as a fushion between floral and graphic, minimal and poetic.”
The name Lilesadi consists of the forenames of Dinah Lisa and Sarah Lena, her twin sister. They share the same passion of bringing pureness
and poesy in chaotic everyday life.
Check them out x

Morning I’m a big fan of Ferm Living and I’m loving there new product launches for A/W 11 how gorgeous is this tonal diamond/harlequin paper in grey above ? its my favourite from the new collection.
In Ferm’s own words this how they got inspiration for there new collection….. how cool ? and to set the scene trend inspiration imagery for ‘into the wild’
“We took ourselves, our designs and our house into the wild woods. We climbed the trees,we danced in the rain, we laughed and we felt like a bunch of happy campers. The raw nature was the perfect backdrop for our universe of strong graphic lines and honest materials like wood, wool, organiccotton, leather, cork and paper. All these amazing materials twisted into straight forward and geometric shapes create our new and wellcrafted collection.Welcome to the woods and to our version of autumn/winter 2011″

I love the work of Rob Ryan and I love Mini Moderns so I was over the moon when I found out about there first wallpaper collaboration titled
OUR ADVENTURE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN
Featuring Rob Ryan’s unmistakable paper cut imagery, the wallpaper depicts decorative bird cages, doors thrown open, vacated by a flock of free birds.
The design is based on the end papers of Rob’s forthcoming book, “A Sky Full of Kindness.” A distinctively Rob Ryan twist comes in the form of a secret message – the design’s title – which can be read only at close quarters in the form of individual words carried in the birds’ beaks.
The wallpaper comes in 10m x 52cm rolls printed with waterbased inks on paper from sustained forests.

About BCS
‘Black Crow Studios is a custom wallpaper company that pushes the traditional idea of wallpaper into the realm of Art. This is for people who want to have something unique in their space that was created with them specifically in mind. We are looking for people who want to make a statement – be it understated or avant garde. This is not your average wallpaper! The main component of Black Crow Studios is the large wall murals where there is not a repeating pattern to drive you crazy just a beautiful design that works perfectly with your space and style. Embroidered wallpaper by the fabulous Custhom
A huge british favourite of mine x
Design collective CUSTHOM (Nathan Philpott and Jemma Ooi) began their collaborations shortly after graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2007. They have researched and developed user interactive products with the aim to explore processes and challenge the mass production of todays products.
“Our designs have always had a core theme of individuality or change of state – allowing uniqueness and unexpected outcomes. Yet we feel the role of the designer is not to provide an open ended result but to have considered all possibilities allowing the product to properly function and work aesthetically.”
