Onism in Old Gold Velvet invites the imagination to roam freely through a dreamlike landscape inspired by Chinoiserie elegance. Exotic birds drift through slender branches and soft petals, rendered in muted pinks, sage greens and gentle ivory against a rich golden-mustard base. The sumptuous velvet surface captures the light beautifully, adding a sense of depth and richness to every bloom and fluttering wing. A delicate interplay of deep and light teal hues in the bird motifs lends subtle vibrancy without overwhelming the calm composition.

Perfect for upholstery, curtains or soft furnishings, this designer velvet fabric evokes both nostalgia and escape—an homage to the longing to be elsewhere. Available in None FR, Standard FR (BS 5852:1), or Crib 5 (BS 5852:2006 Clause 11), making it ideal for residential or commercial interiors where beauty meets performance.

Fantastic fabric that matches my wallpaper

I purchased a sample to see if I could get sofa cushions to match the same wallpaper I installed as backdrop of my bookshelf. Although I decided this fabric didn’t suit my sofas, the cat’s sofa benefited from the sample greatly!
