Inspired by Entwistle Reservoir, one of Lancashire’s prettiest nature reserves, this evocative design celebrates the abundance of conifer trees which have flourished for centuries in an area much loved by founder, Nina, who has been enchanted by the area since childhood. Originally hand-etched and hand-painted, this pastoral, fairy tale depiction of lush forestry is unexpectedly placed against a concrete backdrop – a reminder of the region’s industrial heritage.
