Peat is a bold, earthy brown grounded in the wild beauty of the Lancashire moorlands — a shade that recalls the richness of peat bogs and the depth of windswept heather. With charcoal-grey undertones and a warmth that unfolds gently in changing light, it brings a calming sophistication to cosy libraries, intimate dining spaces or contemporary living rooms. This is a tone made for enveloping interiors, balancing darkness with quiet elegance.

Perfectly suited to modern classic or industrial schemes, Peat harmonises with natural wood, soft leathers and brushed metal. Crafted as a matt emulsion for walls and ceilings, this luxury interior paint is water-based, solvent-free and low-VOC — a thoughtful choice for both your home and the planet. Coverage is 10m² per litre, touch dry in 1–2 hours and ready for a second coat in just four. Versatile, nuanced, and deeply grounding.

Drying time: touch dry in 1-2 hours. Can be painted over after approx 4 hours. Hard dry overnight.
