Rubigo Copper Linen Fabric takes its name from the Latin word for ‘rust’—a nod to the weathered iron of Manchester’s Castlefield Viaduct, where time-worn structures and spontaneous blooms live side by side. This linen design reflects that evolving contrast, with a geometric pattern of interlocking forms inspired by corrosion’s quiet complexity. The muted pastel blue base is softened by salmon-pink motifs, creating a gentle, offbeat contrast that feels both modern and organic.

Subtle variations in the weave lend a natural tactility, ideal for light upholstery, drapery, or coordinating soft furnishings in eclectic or contemporary interiors. Available in None FR, Standard FR (BS 5852:1), or Crib 5 (BS 5852:2006 Clause 11) flame-retardant options, Rubigo Copper is a versatile upholstery fabric suited to residential and commercial projects alike.
