West facing living room mostly used during the evening

A west facing room will receive most natural sunlight during the evening when the sun is setting. Evening sunlight also tends to be quite warming, so as you use the room mostly during the evening you're able to have free reign on colour choices. Cooler shades will work equally as well as warming tones as they'll be warmed up as the sun comes around. For a cocooning feel (perfect for a movie night on the sofa), stick to a darker palette with a contemporary design such as an oversized floral with complementing paint colours.
