Is it a bap, a muffin, a teacake or a roll? Where we’re from, it’s a barm cake—and it’s this nostalgic bake that inspires the warm, buttery tone of this soft off-white paint. With gentle yellow undertones and a creamy base, it brings a welcoming glow to any room. Ideal for sunny kitchens, relaxed dining rooms or bright hallways, it pairs beautifully with warm woods, copper accents and natural fibres for a timeless yet lived-in feel.

This luxury interior paint is a water-based, low-VOC matt emulsion—perfect for walls and ceilings. It’s eco-conscious, solvent-free and touch dry in 1–2 hours, with a second coat ready in just four. Each litre covers up to 10m², making it as efficient as it is beautiful. Barm Cake is a quietly confident neutral that adds warmth without overpowering, ideal for modern or classic homes alike.

Our luxury paint collection has been created to complement our wallpapers, murals and fabrics or to work individually on their own.

All our paint is water-based and solvent-free meaning it’s kinder to you, your home and the environment.

Coverage: 10m2/L
Drying time: touch dry in 1-2 hours. Can be painted over after approx 4 hours. Hard dry overnight.

Colours on screen will vary from actual paint – we recommend ordering a real paint sample

Our paint samples are recyclable and have been hand-painted onto our wallpaper roll ends

We always recommend ordering samples of fabrics, wallpapers and paint before placing an order.

All fabric samples are provided on drapery fabric unless specified otherwise. If you require an upholstery fabric sample, please let us know.

MAX of 2 samples of the same design. We have the right to refund orders of multiple orders of the same design.
