A confident twist on a timeless motif, Checkmate Ink Linen Fabric reimagines the classic checkerboard in striking monochrome. The mid-scale pattern is softened by organic, hand-drawn lines that lend a sense of movement and unpredictability. Woven in natural linen, the cloth’s relaxed texture brings an understated elegance and a tactile dimension that encourages layering across other scales and styles—perfect for creating a modern, maximalist interior.

This designer fabric lends itself beautifully to curtains, upholstery, and statement soft furnishings. Available in three flame-retardant options—None FR for residential drapery and cushions, Standard FR for domestic upholstery and contract curtains (BS 5852:1), and Crib 5 for commercial upholstery (BS 5852:2006 Clause 11)—Checkmate Ink offers both impact and practicality in equal measure.
