It’s no surprise this mossy shade of green paint helps brings the beauty of the outdoors in, despite what its name might lead you to believe. A colloquial term for ‘surprise’, Ecky Thump is a much-loved phrase amongst northerners stemming from the 1970s comedy series ‘The Goodies’.

With its soft olive base and warm, earthy undertones, this inviting shade of green evokes sheltered forest trails and stone garden walls. A natural fit for dining rooms, libraries or country kitchens, it pairs effortlessly with reclaimed wood, terracotta, and other natural materials to cultivate quiet depth and character.

Formulated as a matt emulsion for walls and ceilings, this luxury interior paint is water-based, low-VOC and completely solvent-free — a more sustainable choice without compromising on richness. Easy to apply and quick to dry (touch dry in 1–2 hours, ready to recoat in 4), with excellent coverage of up to 10m² per litre. A quietly confident green that works in harmony with its surroundings.

Our luxury paint collection has been created to complement our wallpapers, murals and fabrics or to work individually on their own.

All our paint is water-based and solvent-free meaning it’s kinder to you, your home and the environment.

Coverage: 10m2/L
Drying time: touch dry in 1-2 hours. Can be painted over after approx 4 hours. Hard dry overnight.

Our paint samples are recyclable and have been hand-painted onto our wallpaper roll ends

All fabric samples are provided on drapery fabric unless specified otherwise. If you require an upholstery fabric sample, please let us know.

MAX of 2 samples of the same design. We have the right to refund orders of multiple orders of the same design.
