Chaotic yet poetic, Maytime Dusky Pink Velvet Fabric evokes the carefree beauty of wild springtime blooms. Hand-painted florals spill across a sumptuously soft dusky pink velvet, their layered petals blushed in notes of coral, rose and faded lilac. The velvet’s gentle sheen catches the light, lending depth and luminosity to each stem and shadow. The effect is both romantic and spirited—ideal for bringing warmth and a touch of whimsy to interiors.

This floral velvet fabric lends itself beautifully to upholstered headboards, armchairs, statement cushions and softly gathered curtains. Available in three finishes—None FR for domestic drapery, Standard FR (BS 5852:1) for home upholstery or commercial curtains, and Crib 5 (BS 5852:2006 Clause 11) for commercial seating—it offers both elegance and practical versatility across residential and hospitality spaces.

Living with velvet

Pile direction: all pieces must be cut in the same direction or they will reflect light differently and read as two colours.

Shading: velvet naturally appears lighter or darker depending on your viewing angle. This is inherent to the fabric, not a fault.

Grinning: digital printing sits on the pile surface. Stretching over a tight frame can reveal the base cloth beneath. A natural characteristic, not a fault.

Upholstery projects: please consult your maker before ordering to confirm suitability, quantity and cutting plan.

FABRIC — Delivery & Returns

£13 UK delivery. We print and cut every length ourselves, Monday to Thursday, within 4 working days, then dispatch it tracked for next-working-day delivery. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands and some remote postcodes may take a little longer, and any surcharge is calculated and shown at checkout.

International delivery takes 2 to 10 working days, sent tracked and Delivery Duty Paid, so all taxes and duties are included in the price you pay with no surprise charges on arrival.

Every length is cut and finished to order, so fabric cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. We always recommend ordering a sample first. Anything faulty or damaged, tell us within 14 days of delivery with clear photographs and we'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost.
