Rivington Yellow Velvet Fabric is a vibrant celebration of botanical beauty, inspired by the enchanting Rivington Oriental Gardens. Lush foliage and elegant tree forms unfold across a vivid mustard ground, evoking the charm of traditional Chinoiserie with a contemporary energy. Flourishes of leafy green, deep crimson, and delicate white blossoms give layered depth to the luxurious velvet, which catches the light with a gentle sheen. The result is a rich tapestry of colour and texture—ideal for interiors seeking drama, warmth and heritage-inspired elegance.

This designer fabric works beautifully as curtain fabric, upholstery or soft furnishings. Available in three options: None FR for domestic curtains and cushions; Standard FR for residential upholstery or commercial drapes (BS 5852:1); and Crib 5 for contract upholstery in hospitality and commercial spaces (BS 5852:2006 Clause 11).

Living with velvet

Pile direction: all pieces must be cut in the same direction or they will reflect light differently and read as two colours.

Shading: velvet naturally appears lighter or darker depending on your viewing angle. This is inherent to the fabric, not a fault.

Grinning: digital printing sits on the pile surface. Stretching over a tight frame can reveal the base cloth beneath. A natural characteristic, not a fault.

Upholstery projects: please consult your maker before ordering to confirm suitability, quantity and cutting plan.

£13 UK delivery. We print and cut every length ourselves, Monday to Thursday, within 4 working days, then next-day tracked delivery. International 2 to 10 working days, duties included.

As our fabric is printed and cut to order especially for you, we're unable to accept returns once it's made. Please order a sample first, and do check colour and quantity before cutting. Anything faulty, tell us within 14 days and we'll put it right
