Tropic Teal Spice Velvet Fabric brings vivid botanical elegance to interior schemes, drawn from a 19th-century hand-painted archive and reimagined with intricate detail. Stylised foliage and winding vines unfurl across a plush damask velvet, creating a sense of movement and depth. The saturated teal ground forms a lush backdrop for warm ochre and rust tones, offering a jewel-like vibrancy that shifts subtly with the light.

The interplay of rich colour and ornate motif evokes the grandeur of Baroque interiors while remaining fresh and contemporary, perfect for period-style or eclectic spaces. Ideally suited for use as upholstery fabric, curtain fabric, or soft furnishings where layered colour and plush tactility are desired.

Available in None FR, Standard FR (BS 5852:1), and Crib 5 (BS 5852:2006 Clause 11) options for residential and commercial use. Suitable for curtains, cushions and upholstery.

Living with velvet

Pile direction: all pieces must be cut in the same direction or they will reflect light differently and read as two colours.

Shading: velvet naturally appears lighter or darker depending on your viewing angle. This is inherent to the fabric, not a fault.

Grinning: digital printing sits on the pile surface. Stretching over a tight frame can reveal the base cloth beneath. A natural characteristic, not a fault.

Upholstery projects: please consult your maker before ordering to confirm suitability, quantity and cutting plan.

£13 UK delivery. We print and cut every length ourselves, Monday to Thursday, within 4 working days, then next-day tracked delivery. International 2 to 10 working days, duties included.

As our fabric is printed and cut to order especially for you, we're unable to accept returns once it's made. Please order a sample first, and do check colour and quantity before cutting. Anything faulty, tell us within 14 days and we'll put it right
